No drought about it, psychic thinks she can make it rain in Bermuda

-

“The islanders of Bermuda, stricken by drought, were given heart yesterday by a London housewife,” read The Post.

“At her home in Kensington, Mrs Doris Munday was concentrating on a map of the island. She claims to have broken droughts in India, Australia, South Africa and Chile.

“‘I used to think I had the power of predicting the weather,’ said Mrs Munday, ‘but a man involved in psychic research said that I wasn’t predicting at all, but subconsciously creating the conditions for the weather I forecast. I can make the sun shine, too, but you have to concentrate for hours and hours on that.

“‘And anyway, I can only make the sun shine by making it rain somewhere else.’”
