Driver,52, dies in crash

A man has died after his car was involved in a crash with a heavy goods vehicle.

Police launched an investigation following the collision involving a black Seat Ibiza and a Scania tipper HGV in Gorebridge, Midlothian.

Gary Boa, 52, from Walkerburn, driver of the Seat, died at the scene.

Officers have appealed for anyone with dashcam footage of the crash, which took place on the B7007 Innerleithen Road at around 3.30pm on Friday, to come forward.
