New pros: Here come the twirls
Four new professional dancers will add fresh glamour to the Strictly line-up this month.
Jowita Przystal, Kai Widdrington, Nikita Kuzmin and Cameron Lombard have all joined the star-studded show.
Przystal, 27, has been dancing cheerleaderstyle since she was seven and hasn’t looked back since she switched to ballroom dancing five years later.
She said: “Mum convinced me to try ballroom when I was 12. I wasn’t that keen because I was shy about dancing with a boy – but I fell in love with it,”
But Widdrington never had his heart set on a career in dance as he originally hoped to be a professional footballer, like his dad Tommy.
He said: “I fell in love with dance so I gave up on the idea of being a footballer to pursue it. Dancing is something I can’t live without.”
