The feature, which gets a reference on the front page, shows photos of a young Cliff alongside how he was in 1985, spectacled and looking a little older, and continues: “The headlines appeared in a pop paper in 1958 and Cliff keeps a framed copy of the review on the wall at home. Today he’d be appalled if such things were written of him. Cliff’s frequently referred to as the ‘Peter Pan of pop’, a title he hates.”
