Corduroy brings back happy memories of being a teen in the ’70s, but it’s definitely not stuck in the past. Back then, I’d go straight home from school and change into my flared cords, worn with a tank top and blouse with an exaggerated collar and trainers. Corduroy still brings back that carefree “out-of-school” feeling, but this year it doesn’t have to be off-duty.there are cord suits you could wear out in the evening, or when you need to be smart.walking the dog? A cord dress or jumpsuit with a roll neck layered underneath and chunky Chelsea boots will do the job nicely. Come on – it’s time to get your cord on!
