Vigil BBC1

-

The crab from Little Mermaid sang about life being better under the sea, but I’m beginning to think he was talking a load of old sea cobblers. Life under the waves is, according to Vigil, a claustrophobic mess.

Suranne Jones’ investigation has turned up more red herrings than the unfortunate fishing trawler from the first episode, and engineering problems on Vigil mean the boat she’s on is riddled with holes; mostly of the plot variety.

Why did the chap with the dragon tattoo not tell the doctor Suranne Jones was on to them? And does Vigil expect us to believe it takes five minutes to get from the Clyde Tunnel to Renfrew Street? Sub par.
