What’s in bloom?
Sunflowers of all kinds are gazing cheerfully out of many gardens at the moment. Alongside the familiar giants there are varieties such as ‘Teddy Bear’ that are small enough to grow in pots. As well as the familiar yellow, sunflowers come in shades of bronze and dark red. The perennial variety Helianthus ‘Lemon Queen’ is a good choice for the back of the border.
