We’ll never forget Willie

I was so sad to hear of the death at 57 of Sex And The City’s flamboyant Stanford Blatch, the actor Willie Garson. He was a constant in the series, always funny and quirky. I think we can all identify characters from the show with some of the people we know and I have a gay male friend who is a little bit like Stanford, a bit over the top, great fun, easy company and always there when you need him.

I’m a SATC superfan. The whole girl gang really appeals to me so I’ve watched the series – and both movies – four times now. I’ve even done the Sex And The City tour that takes you past their apartments and bars, offices, restaurants and cafes.

RIP Stanford. You’ll not be forgotten.
