Rare dram fetches £8.5k

A rare crystal decanter of Bowmore whisky decorated with silver medallions of the Stuart monarchs has fetched £8,500 at auction in Edinburgh.

The Bowmore Dynasty Decanter-31 year old was bottled by the Glasgow company Hart Brothers Ltd in a bespoke decanter made in Portugal.
