TRANENT and PENICUIK continue to be the front runners in the Premier League after both recorded good wins.

Tranent led CAMELON 2-0 at half-time thanks to a Sean Wringe header and a second from Jamie Docherty. The Mariners were again second best after the break, with Matthew Knox and Wringe adding two more for Tranent.

Penicuik took the lead after three minutes against DUNDONALD through Scott Mccrory Irving, but the Bluebell hit back

through Jack Smith in 26 minutes. Cuikie had the better of the second half, though, with goals from Aiden Walsh and Rhys Mcmurdo giving them a 3-1 victory.

BLACKBURN UNITED went down 4-1 to CROSSGATES PRIMROSE. Goals from Darren Aitken and Stewart Mcdonald gave Primrose a comfortabl­e half-time lead. Millar pulled one back, but Crossgates added another two thanks to Cammy Muirhead and Brian Ritchie.

DUNBAR UNITED always had the upper hand against INVERKEITH­ING, with Andy Jones giving them a half-time lead, and he made it 2-0 in 48 minutes. Dan Purves made it three in 55 minutes, with Callum Murray netting a consolatio­n for the visitors with 15 minutes to go.

Ryan Cameron gave TYNECASTLE FC the lead over MUSSELBURG­H and, although Bradley Whyte

levelled, Fletcher Hendry snatched a winner for the visitors.

SAUCHIE just got the better of BROXBURN, winning by the odd goal in five. Brian Morgan gave Sauchie the lead and Mark Finlayson made it two before Brass pulled one

back. Ross Allum then tied things up, but Sauchie weren’t to be denied and Aiden Cracknall knocked home their winner.

LINLITHGOW ROSE were 2-0 winners at WHITEHILL WELFARE, with Mark Stowe giving them the lead in 37 minutes and Alan Sneddon netted a second after the

break.
