Co-ordinator for Fridays For Future Windhoek and a member of Save The Okavango Delta, Ina-maria said the visa process is too costly. She said: “It is very difficult for delegates to leave their countries because the visa is not affordable. Our peoples are hardly ever consulted in these climate deals. I was born in war, grew up a refugee, lost a father to the war and four siblings. I now visit schools, for workshops on climate justice and organise strikes.”
