We all had a school friend whose home would be a hotbed of Things You Shouldn’t Be Watching where, at the age of 12, you’d end up being exposed something called Driller Demons or The Devil Made Me Do It or, most frightening of all, Eldorado.

That feeling of having nightmare petrol poured in your fuel tank is replicated quite handily in horror anthology series Oat Studios on Netflix, from District 9 and Chappie director, Neill Blomkamp.

The stories are basically experimental short films which often don’t hang together but always left me mildly unsettled.there’s also a short appearance by Sigourney Weaver. My teen self would be in heaven.
