Move tender plants into the greenhouse or under cover before the first frosts strike. Water these sparingly over winter.

The chances are that you will, but if you started off this year with F1 hybrid seed, then you’ll end up with something different and it could also happen that insects will have crosspolli­nated your plants, giving different results. Yes they are, but they need to be cooked first. Is it worth collecting leaves from a beech tree?
