ARIES

Pay attention to your dreams for they could point you towards the direction that you really want to go in and show you what could lead to contentment. From next weekend you could find yourself interested in looking into hidden matters, determined to uncover secrets and truth.

TAURUS

There are plenty of opportunities for sharing experiences and memories with friends. But take care about lending unless you’re happy for your offering to really be a gift. From Saturday significant others become centre-stage and resolving small differences should pay off.

GEMINI

You may be seeing a career or community matter through rose-tinted spectacles which may help you see possibilities you hadn’t considered before. If you add a large helping of hard work and realism, you could move towards making these dreams come true.

CANCER

With playful Venus in your work sector aligning with dreamy Neptune and what-the-heck Jupiter you could be feeling a break is due from too much slogging away. All work and no play makes for a very dull life and some creative time out now could refresh and restore you.

LEO

It would be easy to be distracted by wild schemes in midweek and applying some common sense is wise. Pay attention to your gut feelings about a home situation on Saturday. Asking the right questions and listening carefully should put you in the picture about what’s really going on.

VIRGO

Sharing your ideas with significant others midweek could bring you closer together. The weekend is ideal for making an itemised list of paperwork that you need to deal with and then working through it methodically. This will free up your time and energy to get on with more high priority tasks.

LIBRA

It may seem hard to focus on the task in hand this week when there are so many distractions. The secret is not to be so hard on yourself. Allowing yourself some time off will give your imagination time to expand and show what’s possible, and then you can achieve it.

SCORPIO

Don’t believe everything you’re told about money this week or allow yourself to be flattered into accepting someone’s opinion you actually don’t agree with. You should feel energised and ready to take on the world as feisty Mars enters Scorpio on Saturday until mid-december.

SAGITTARIUS

Home life should be more enjoyable now and you could be carried away with grand plans about it this week. Enjoy the moment but don’t promise more than you can deliver. If you’re feeling irritable, check your gut feelings. It’s likely you’re picking up someone else’s fear.

CAPRICORN

Action planet Mars moves into your friends and allies sector on Saturday until just before Christmas and cooperation brings the best results and the potential for increased career and community success. Careful consideration is called for about money and friendship matters.

AQUARIUS

Trying to separate fact from fantasy about a financial matter could be hard, but well worth the effort. New challenges are coming into your life now that will energise you and it’s worth reaching out and making contact if you meet people whose ideas and principles you resonate with.

PISCES

If you’re feeling a bit envious of someone else’s success now you may just need to push yourself a little harder towards your own goals rather than just dreaming. Forward planning may be called for now about studies or travel to ensure you get the best results for whatever you’d like to achieve.

I was a little confused. She explained that when she had come over before to check on us, “The lady gave me a smile that made my whole day.

“But, you, well...you looked like you wanted to complain about something.”

Complain? Me? Imagine! In truth, I hardly remembered her coming over. But, in that moment, my sweetheart had made her day – and I made her worry!

Now, we can’t really be held responsible for our expressions. Can we? But it was a reminder that how we are does affect those around us. And, knowing that, perhaps we can manage those little relationships a little better, for the sake of others.

The tip was a little larger than it might have been – to make up for my face!
