There’s a haunting quality to this crime drama, based on Ann Cleeves’ novel.

After a body is found on a beach, DI Matthew Venn and his team, Detective Jen Rafferty and DC Ross Edwards, search for a way into a case that has no witnesses, no forensics and no motive.

Matthew is also dealing with the recent death of his father and the complications of being thrust back into a community he was forced to leave.
