Weston and Mccann are double trouble

RANGERS B turned in a fivestar performanc­e to thrash BROOMHILL 5-1 in the only league match of the day.

The Gers youngsters dominated the game from the start, with Charlie Mccann and Tony Weston causing the visitors problems and grabbing a brace each. Kyle Mcclelland got the other, with Lewis Crawford getting Broomhill’s counter.

BONNYRIGG ROSE are through to the fourth round of the South

Region Challenge Cup with a 4-0 win over COLDSTREAM. A brace from Nathan Evans and strikes from Bob Wilson and George Turner gave them the win.

BO’NESS UNITED beat EAST KILBRIDE THISTLE 3-0, with Nick Locke putting them ahead at the turn and, in a dominating second half, Keir Macaulay and Gregor Nicol got debut goals for the club.

NEWMAINS UNITED went down 4-0 to EAST KILBRIDE, while EDINBURGH UNI crashed out 3-1 against VALE OF LEVEN

CIVIL SERVICE STROLLERS recorded a 3-1 win over South side THREAVE ROVERS. Matthew Shaw hit the opener in 25 minutes and the second 10 minutes later was a repeat with Robbie Cole nodding the ball in. Scott Milligan pulled one back for Rovers on 70 minutes, but Jaciz Balde sealed it for Strollers with a late penalty.

LINLITHGOW ROSE scraped through 3-2 against South side ST CUTHBERT WANDERERS. In the firsthalf,danbaurgot­hisfirst goal for Rose, but Saints equalised through Russell Williamson. In the second period, Mark Stowe got an early goal, but the visitors hit back through Luke Currie on 64 minutes and then Alan Docherty got the winner 10 minutes later.
