CAMELON were 2-0 up against MUSSELBURG­H ATHLETIC after 15 minutes through Mitchell Taylor and Darren Gribben and they held on until half-time but, after both sides had a player red-carded, Josh Jeffries pulled one back from a penalty in 51 minutes. Lloyd Fiddler levelled in 65 minutes and Aaron Murrell grabbed a winner for the visitors in 72 minutes.

There was no shortage of action at CROSSGATES, where the hosts held out for a 4-3 win after leading 4-0. A double from Brian Ritchie and a penalty from Scott Lawrie put Crossgates in control and, even though they had Craig Mcguire ordered off, they went further ahead through a Lawrie penalty. WHITEHILL stormed back with goals from Ryan Hodge, Ryan Weir and Liam Ireland. The hosts were reduced to nine men when Colin Paterson was sent off, but they held out to take the points.

DUNBAR were always second best to the SWIFTS, with Greig Spence scoring a hat-trick in the hosts 4-1 win. Charlie Simpson also scored, with Ben Bathgate netting Dunbar’s consolatio­n.

LTHV raced into a twogoal lead after 20 minutes against HILL OF BEATH and, although The Haws pulled one back through Ryan Connelly in 39 minutes, the hosts held out for a 2-1 victory.

In The Challenge Cup, PENICUIK went down 5-2 at IRVINE MEADOW. Connor Boyd and Sam Mccloy both netted doubles, with Mick Wardrope also finding the back of the Penicuik net. Aaron Sommervill­e and Gregor Lamb were the Penicuik scorers.

Lea Schiavone gave GLENROTHES the lead

against CLYDEBANK, but the Fifers as the visitors came back strongly with goals from Adam Hodge,

Jaimie Darroch and Liam Mcgonigle before half-time. They went on to complete a 6-1 victory thanks to Mcgonigle completing his hat-trick and another from Nicky Little.

TRANENT ran out 3-0 winners over LUGAR BOSWELL. Ben Miller

scored a double and Wayne Mcintosh also netted.

HADDINGTON had no complaints about their 2-0 defeat from SPARTANS, a Blair Henderson penalty midway through the first half and a second by Sean Brown in the second half doing the damage.

LINLITHGOW won 3-2 against ST CUTHBERTS. Dan Baur’s first goal for the club gave Rose the lead, but Russell Williamson levelled before Mark Stowe regained the lead for Rose. St Cuthberts hit back again through Luke Currie, but Alan Docherty hit a winner for the hosts.
