Restaurant of the week

TGI Fridays, Glasgow Fort

-

Location

Based right in the heart of one of Glasgow’s most popular shopping hubs, it’s the perfect pit stop while out grabbing those lastminute gifts for your loved ones.

First Impressions

It’s not Friday, but we definitely have that Friday feeling as soon as we cross the threshold. The decor is cool and it’s packed with people looking like they are having a good time.

Service

Great at the start, shown to our table and orders taken. Food arrived promptly. Seemed to slow down as the meal went on and the restaurant got busier to the point where by the time we got a spoon for dessert – on the third request – it had melted.

Menu

Whatever you fancy, you’ll probably find it on the menu here. In fact, we felt spoiled for choice with a good selection of starters and a mains list with everything from ribs and burgers to seafood and salads for you to enjoy.

Taste

We opted for mozzarella dippers to start, followed by fajitas and half rack of barbecue ribs. The fajitas are served on a sizzling platter, so piping hot and delicious. The ribs are tasty, but there’s just not enough. If you’re hungry don’t hold back and definitely go for a full rack. The kids demolished their pasta and chicken bites, possibly because they’ve heard about the create your own dessert where they can load up ice cream with sauces and sweets! The chocolate fudge cake for the adults was divine.

Ambience

It’s busting and busy. You definitely do get the feeling that it’s always Friday at TGI Fridays!

Price

Our bill for two adults and two kids came in at just over £65. Not bad at all.

?? ?? We recommend trying a Silver Mercedes cocktail. But if you’re the designated driver, the mocktails are just as good!
