LINLITHGOW ROSE remain top of the league after a comfortabl­e 4-0 win against 10-man WHITEHILL WELFARE. Rose took the lead through Lewis Payne in 10 minutes and they doubled their advantage thanks to an own goal in 20 minutes. Cammy Thomson made it 3-0 at the interval and Mark Stowe chipped in with as fourth in the second half after Whitehill’s Rickymille­r was redcarded.

PENICUIK remain on their tails though after a 2-1 win over BLACKBURN UNITED. Paul Tansey gave Cuikie the lead in 30 minutes and a header from Andy Forbes made it two in 53 minutes, with Blackburn’s goal coming from a Michael Brown penalty in stoppage time.

Tranent are also in contention after a narrow 1-0 win over LTHV, with the winner scored by Kris Renton in 35 minutes.

HILL OF BEATH were in top form against DUNBAR UNITED and ran out 4-0 winners. Calum Adamson gave the Haws a secondminu­te lead and Ryan Connelly doubled the score in 11 minutes. Dunbar then had a mountain to climb when Johnny Galloway made it 3-0 at half-time. The Haws continued their domination in the second period and Adamson struck a fourth in 71 minutes.

An astonishin­g game at DUNDONALD saw the Fife side come from two down at half-time against NEWTONGRAN­GE, who scored through a Jack Gillan penalty and Liall Smith, to score five in the second half.

BROXBURN and MUSSELBURG­H were involved in a tense tussle, with the home side eventually picking up the points with a 3-2 win. Joe Tait gave Broxburn the lead in 35 minutes, but Musselburg­h levelled through a Josh Jeffries penalty in 42 minutes. Jordan Smith then gave the visitors the lead in 77 minutes, but Gary Brass levelled from a penalty two minutes later, then Andy Mair cracked in a home winner in 83 minutes.

Crossgates and THE SWIFTS shared the points in a 1-1 draw. The Swifts took the lead in 47 minutes, but Primrose hit back through a Scott Lawrie penalty.
