-

DUMBARTON moved five points clear at the top with a comfortable 4-0 win over hosts ELGIN.

Sons opened on 25 minutes when good work by Kalvin Orsi was finished off by Ross Maclean. On 52 minutes, Gregg Wylde fired home the second. An Aron Lynas thunderous drive took a deflection to make it 3-0, with sub Ryan Wallace drilling home No. 4.

Life as FORFAR manager almost got the perfect start for Ray Mckinnon, but his side conceded a time-added equaliser to BONNYRIGG ROSE. The Loons scored on 76 minutes when Hearts loanee Jaden Ferguson slotted in a composed finish. But, in timeadded, George Hunter equalised.

EAST FIFE’S Aaron Steele was sent off just six minutes in against visiting ALBION ROVERS after the referee ruled he had kicked an opposition player in the head. Despite being a man short, the Fifers opened the scoring, with loanee Joao Balde firing home, but Albion equalised through Charlie Reilly, then were 2-1 ahead at the break when Blair Malcolm bundled the ball home. Balde levelled in the second half, but Albion won the game with a last-minute penalty after Reilly was fouled in the box, and the striker dusted himself down to net the spot-kick

Ten-man STRANRAER beat STENHOUSEMUIR 3-2. Stranraer’s James Hilton curled in a stunning 40-yard lob on 17 minutes and Matty Grant made it 2-0. Stenny scored before the break when Matty Yates flicked home. Midway through the second half, homester Kyle Girvan was shown a straight red card, with home boss Jamie Hamill also sent off. But they went straight up the park and Grant Gallagher slid the ball in from close range. Sub Tom Orr pulled one back for Stenhousemuir.

ANNAN ATHLETIC won 2-0 at STIRLING ALBION. The Binos went down to 10 men when Cammy Clark saw red in 38 minutes for a two-footed tackle on Cammy Williamson. Annan went ahead in 71 minutes when Tommy Goss pounced from close range, and they sealed the win in the sixth minute of time-added when Chris Johnston got on the end of a long ball and fired past Currie.
