LINLITHGOW ROSE strengthen­ed their position at the top of the Premier League with a comprehens­ive 4-0 win over 10-man PENICUIK in a topof-the-table clash. Conor Mcmullan gave Rose the lead on 27 minutes, then, in the 35th minute, Penicuik’s Andy Mair was sent off. Rose made them pay when Greg Mcpherson doubled their lead two minutes into the second half, then Mark Stowe and Conor Mckenzie added two more.

An amazing game at BROXBURN ended 5-5 v DUNDONALD BLUEBELL. Greg Binnie scored an equaliser for the hosts in time-added to complete his hat-trick.

JEANFIELD SWIFTS’ title hopes were dashed when they lost 3-0 at MUSSELBURG­H. Nathan Evans gave the hosts the lead just on half-time and, early in the second period, Matty O’connor headed in a second. Matty Knox then made sure with a third on 76 minutes.

VALE OF LEITHEN took the lead against CROSSGATES after 14 minutes, but the Fifers came back strongly in the second half with Brian Ritchie equalising on 49 minutes. This was followed

by a Scott Lawrie penalty and another from Cammy Muirhead to complete a 3-1 victory for the Fifers.

HADDINGTON were 3-1 winners over BLACKBURN UNITED, who had Dominic Kane red-carded after 42 minutes. Shaun Hill converted a penalty on 68 minutes to give the Hi Hi the lead and Robbie Peffers made it two before Laurie Devine pulled one back from a penalty. Peffers struck again for the home side, with Marcus Millar adding a second for Blackburn late on.

Jack Docherty bagged a hat-trick in SAUCHIE’S convincing 4-0 win over INVERKEITH­ING. Ross Kavanagh was the other Sauchie scorer.

Goals from Stuart Frankland and a penalty from Ryan Cameron put TYNECASTLE in the driving seat against HILL OF BEATH. However, The Haws stormed back with Jens Moret pulling one back, then Michael Watt netted a stoppage-time equaliser.

First Division title contender GLENROTHES beat DUNIPACE 2-0 thanks to a Graeme Walker double.

DUNBAR, also in the championsh­ip race, hammered KINNOULL 5-0 through strikes from Darren Handling, Greg Goldie, Cammy Dawson, Michael Mcfarlane and an own goal.

NEWTONGRAN­GE kept on the leaders tails with a 1-0 win at LEITH, Ryan Porteous scoring the only goal on 29 minutes.
