I would not want to leave my children in any bother

-

John Mclauchlan, 74, from Glasgow, recently used ILAWS Scotland to create a last Will and testament following the passing of his second wife.

When his wife died, she had not left a Will, so this prompted John to get this sorted since he has five children that he would like to be looked after when he dies.

Previously a drilling site investigator, John wanted to make sure he had everything covered for when he passed away. He picked up a copy of The Sunday Post and found an advertisement for ILAWS and this started his journey.

John said: “I called up the number I saw in the paper and they immediately sent someone out to visit me. It was really good. There was no messing about and it was all really straight-forward.

“I was told I would have the documents back within two weeks of the meeting and I did. It was so easy and the service was absolutely excellent.”

John wanted to make sure everything was simple and easy to understand. He added that the papers explain everything in great detail so his children will know exactly what is happening when he passes away.

He explained how stressful his wife passing away without a Will was. He didn’t want to put his children through the stress of this when it came to him.

John wanted everything to be simple for his children.

He added that it has “taken the stress out of” a traumatic thing.

“No one wants to think about what happens when you die, but you have to. I felt supported by ILAWS.

“I have even been passing the number around to my friends and I would completely recommend them to anyone who is needing a will sorted out.

“I couldn’t believe how quick everything was and how much I felt like I was important to them.

“The whole thing could not have been easier.

“I am very happy with the service I received and it’s made a tough thought much easier.”
