LINLITHGOW ROSE’S 4-2 defeat at LTHV proved quite a shock. The hosts were 4-0 up through goals from Ben Viola, Sean Wringe, Joe Viola and a Louis Signorini penalty before Rose netted two late goals.

Top scorers in the league were JEANFIELD SWIFTS, who hammered OAKLEY UNITED 7-0. Chris Mcleish helped himself to a hat-trick for the Perth outfit, with Connor Mclaren, Chris Dodds and Paul Simpson completing the rout.

In a tight game at BLACKBURN UNITED, SAUCHIE picked up three points thanks to a secondhalf winner from Danny Connor.

HILL OF BEATH hit a late winner to beat DUNDONALD BLUEBELL 2-1 in a Fife derby. The Bluebells took the lead on 32 minutes, but Ross Allum equalised on 40 minutes, then grabbed the winner in second-half stoppage-time.

Ten-man HADDINGTON ATHLETIC beat bottom side VALE OF LEITHEN 3-1. Guy Mcgarry gave Haddington the lead on 23 minutes, with the hosts levelling eight minutes later. The visitors had Zak Szemis red-carded on 38 minutes, but Mcgarry sealed the points with two goals in the second half to complete his hat-trick.

PENICUIK were held to a 1-1 home draw by MUSSELBURG­H. Reece Hope gave Cuikie the lead after 24 minutes, but the visitors hit back with an equaliser from Liall Smith on 55 minutes.

It also finished all square at TYNECASTLE, where the home side drew 1-1 with BROXBURN. Darren Downie gave Broxburn a 10th-minute lead, but they couldn’t hold on and the hosts levelled through Jack Chesser on 75 minutes.

DUNBAR UNITED went clear at the top of the First Division after beating NEWTONGRAN­GE 3-1 in a top-of-the-table clash. Cammy Dawson gave Dunbar the lead on 41 minutes and, two minutes into the second half, they went two ahead through an own goal. Darren Handling then made it three before the hosts netted a late consolatio­n through a Liam Mcintosh penalty.
