Stylish picks for the new season

-

Stylish new looks for the colder weather.

WINTER may be on its way, but this time of year definitely has its compensations.

One is the shops are full of newseason trends – and chilly-weather clothes are so much more forgiving than sunshine styles!

We reckon this is the perfect time to buy a coat or jacket. It means you’ll get lots of use out of it over the next few months.

You can spend hundreds of pounds, but you don’t really have to.

The good quality available on the high street means that there are so many cheaper styles out there that won’t break the bank – but and still look great.

There’s so much choice and every colour under the sun.

We love Tu at Sainsbury’s belted camel coat – it’s a wear with anything, wear anywhere classic that looks just as good with jeans as it does with a smart dress.

And the good news is that it’s down from £50 to £37.50. Bargain!

There are plenty of “inbetweener” styles around, too – great for this time of year, with summer really just a memory, but before the really cold weather hits.

Most of us probably old enough to remember bomber jackets from the ’70s (come on, don’t pretend you aren’t!) but we’re in love with them all over again.

The dusky pink velvet style from Dorothy Perkins is a winner and can be dressed up or down, no matter what your age. It’s a flattering shade, too, that suits all skin tones.

Start looking and you’ll be spoiled for choice. It’s enough to make you glad that summer is over.

Well, almost!
