Two taken to hospital after crash
Two people were taken to hospital after two vehicles crashed on a rural road.
A car and another car towing a caravan collided on the A737 at Lochwinnoch, Renfrewshire, yesterday morning around 11am.
Emergency services were called and two people were taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley to be checked over.
The road was closed in both directions as the carriageway was cleared of debris.
Diversions were put in place and drivers were warned to expect delays.
Meanwhile, on Friday night, a supermarket was evacuated over a suspected chemical incident.
Three fire engines and a specialist chemical unit arrived at the Tesco store on Bonnyrigg Road in Dalkeith around 9pm on Friday.
Staff and customers had to be evacuated before fire crews wearing specialist breathing gear were deployed inside.
It was later confirmed that no substances were found.
