100 Days To Victory BBC2, 8pm, Thur

A century after the end of the First World War, this two-part documentary drama reconstructs the final months of battle, revealing how the Allied forces eventually seized victory.

The Germans had launched an attack, advancing more than 60km in only three days. Blocking their path were the British, French, Australian and Canadian forces, whose leaders decided the only way to achieve success was by the effective co-ordination of artillery, tanks, aircraft and infantry.

The Cry BBC1, 9pm, tonight

The conversion of Helen Fitzgerald’s novel comes to a close this week, and once more it features a powerhouse performance from Jenna Coleman. In the aftermath of the tragic events, Joanna wakes in a hospital bed and, via flashbacks to Australia, pieces of the puzzle slot into place. However, as Joanna and Alistair try to rebuild their lives, they cannot avoid drifting further apart. Then an unexpected delivery turns up, and a wave of long-buried memories come flooding back for Joanna. Everything they thought they knew is upended by the revelations, and suddenly the truth about their child’s disappearance finally comes to light. Good support comes from Ewen Leslie, Stella Gonet and Markella Kavenagh.

First Dates: Stand Up To Cancer C4, 9pm, Thur

Outspoken socialite Colin Campbell may not have generated much love when she appeared on I’m A Celeb, so let’s hope she’s mellowed as she goes on a blind date with artist and fellow socialite Matthew.

Joey Essex wants to find a girlfriend he can be with for the rest of his life; Melinda Messenger meets coffee shop-owner Chris, and Gogglebox star Sandra Martin completes the line-up.

David Bowie At Glastonbury 2000 BBC4, 10.55pm, Fri

On Sunday, June 25, 2000, David Bowie closed Glastonbury with a two-hour performance.

It was his first appearance at the festival since 1971, and should have been screened in all its glory. However, only 30 minutes of the set was broadcast that night.

Thankfully cameras captured the whole set. This programme features highlights, including Ashes To Ashes, Starman and Let’s Dance.
