Despicable Me ITV2, 6.10pm, today

Directors Pierre Coffin and Chris Renaud are now two of the world’s hottest filmmakers thanks to this movie and its sequels.

Though this first instalment isn’t as laughout-loud funny as its follow-up, the tale of Gru, a criminal mastermind planning to steal the moon, is full of sweet touches, mostly provided by three orphan girls.
