Tavernier fires Boro back into play-off places

Swansea came from behind to rescue a point with a 2-2 draw at home to Wigan.

Following two Wigan goals from Joe Garner, Dan Burn’s own goal gave the Swans a sniff of a comeback, before Mike Van Der Hoorn equalised in the 81st minute.

Reading ended QPR’s winning run, drawing 0-0 at Loftus Road.

Chris Brunt rescued a point for West Brom with a stoppage time strike in a 1-1 draw against Sheffield Wednesday at The Hawthorns.

Albion, who had striker Jay Rodriguez sent-off in the 63rd minute, were heading for defeat after Atdhe Nuhiu’s early goal.

But Brunt bundled home a Matt Phillips corner at the death.
