Hoops told that defender is going nowhere
Olympiacos boss Pedro Martins has told Celtic to forget about signing his defender Omar Elabdellaoui.
The Hoops are interested in the Norwegian international full back and are weighing up a £4 million bid for the 27-year-old.
However, the Greek club value him at double that and have insisted they aren’t interested in selling Elabdellaoui, who has been at the club for almost five years.
And manager Martins has warned off the Scottish champions.
He said: “We are focused on our goals of winning the title again and we won’t risk that by selling any players.
“To achieve our goals this season, we need a quality squad, so none of our first team players will be sold this month.”

Southampton are trying to hijack Motherwell’s superkid Stuart McKinstry’s £400,000 move to Leeds United this month after mounting a late bid.
The Yorkshire club invited the 16-yearold winger down to their training complex and looked set to seal a deal that could eventually land Motherwell a bumper windfall, which includes addons and a selling-on fee.
However, Southampton have also agreed a fee with Well and are trying to persuade McKinstry to sign for Ralph Hasenhuttl’s outfit.
