LOVESTRUCK ROMEO?

Ross King on Hollywood’s latest rumoured power couple.

-

FROM Bennifer to Brangelina, I do like a Hollywood power-couple nickname.

If Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers were about today, we’d call them Fringer. Liz Taylor and Richard Burton would be LizBur. Lauren Bacall and Humphrey Bogart would be...um...Bog-all.

How about Milleo?

Rumours abound in Hollywood of a romance between model and celebrity son Romeo Beckham, and Stranger Things actor Millie Bobby Brown.

The pair have been saying some nice things about each other, with Millie hinting she wanted Romeo in the next series of the cult Netflix sci-fi drama.

Will my nickname Milleo catch on? Stranger Things have happened.

While Romeo is being...well, a Romeo, his dad is down in the dumps.

David Beckham got shopped to the police for chatting on his mobile while driving his Bentley, and Becks ’fessed up.

As Bruce Forsyth said…What do points make? Endorsements!

He’ll get up to six points on his licence, and a huge fine. That’s right, he’ll have to cough up £200.

I hope David has been saving up. We could start a GoFundMe for him!

Meanwhile, on social media, we’ve had a bit of outrage. Nothing new there, then!

Kim Kardashian posted a wee video of her and Kanye’s daughter North dancing at a church service.

There was unreserved fury because North seemed to be dressed up and wearing a bit of make-up.

If only there were other things going on in the world to get annoyed about!

One thing that made me laugh this week was Janet Jackson’s social media.

Janet’s going to be playing Glastonbury this summer.

The official poster is out, and it’s actually a smashing line-up.

On the poster released by Glastonbury organisers, Janet’s name was on the top of the poster, to the right of stars like Stormzy, The Cure and The Killers.

But when Janet posted it on her own social media feed, her name was on the left-hand side of the bill. Did she think moving it to the left means she’d be further up the bill?

Maybe she heard Jeremy Corbyn went down well at Glastonbury a couple of years ago so wanted to move left too?

One thing I do know is that next week the new Sunday Post magazine, P.S., is going to be here – and so will I...see you then!
