ANDRE BOE (Cameroon)
There is one thing we can say with certainty about Andre Boe. He played three matches for Morton in 1996.
His biography throws up more questions than answers, back to the day when he turned up at Cappielow as a short-term replacement for the injured David Wylie.
Some reports described him as a Cameroon World Cup keeper with 62 caps. Others suggest it was just one. But there’s no trace of Boe in any World Cup squad.
He made a big impression in his short time with Morton, dancing and waving to the fans was combined with dribbling outside the penalty area.
He then joined non-league Molesey, mistakingly turning up at Wembley Stadium for a game against Wembley FC.
