What the celebs are talking about this week

Scottish sea shanty singer Nathan Evans

“A decade of love and our first year of marriage during a pandemic, isolation and a rapidly changing way of life. Thank you for holding it down and being my life raft in the storm.” Singer Leona Lewis shared a sweet tribute to her husband, Dennis Jauch, for his support during the pandemic. Shout-outs to all the partners, friends and family who’ve kept us afloat during the past crazy year.

“This is a hugely challenging time for us all so please look after yourself too. Find those ways in which to share your thoughts and your feelings or find someone to talk to because we really do need to be the very best versions of ourselves for the children in our care.”

The Duchess of Cambridge in a message to parents. So true Kate, looking out for ourselves as well as the ones we love has never been so important.

“The pandemic changed everything in terms of my attitude. I’d always wanted to do something like this but I was always waiting for the right time. There’s no such thing as a right time so why not jump and hope it works.” Andrea McLean says she feels “calmer” for leaving Loose Women after 13 years to launch her wellness and lifestyle project. Good for you Andrea. If the pandemic has taught us anything, it’s the importance of seizing the moment.

“#Theo ..our gorgeous little boy ...You would have been 10 years old today... not a day goes by without thinking of you.”

Amanda Holden pays tribute to her stillborn son Theo on what would have been his 10th birthday. Our hearts go out to you Amanda. Sending all our love from P.S. HQ.

“The first editor I went to see, she was lovely to me. She said I had quite an interesting face but ‘you’ll never make a model because you’re too small’. Then, three months later, when I was across every newspaper, we met again and she said, ‘I goofed, didn’t I?’ which was sweet.”

Former supermodel Twiggy was originally told she was too short to make it as a model. How that fashion editor didn’t twig that gorgeous Twiggy would be a global fashion superstar is beyond us.
