McKee is half-sister of the late Bryan MacLean, guitarist in Love, psych-rockers revered for the classic Forever Changes LP. She followed him into the music business and was lead singer of Lone Justice in the ’80s before going solo. Show Me Heaven, a No 1, soundtracked the Tom Cruise movie Days Of Thunder.
