Logan Botanic Garden opens this weekend and if you are in the south west you can enjoy its exciting mix of exotic and semi-tropical plants.
From the avenue of cabbage palms that greets visitors to the Gunnera bog, with leaves as big as umbrellas, everything here is on a different scale. The garden boasts the UK’s first “green” greenhouse, which is heated by eco-fuels, and already spring is far advanced in the garden, thanks to the mild atmosphere that promotes early growth.
