Just donate it

Sportswear company Nike has announced plans to introduce a recycling scheme allowing customers to donate their old trainers which will then be cleaned, disinfected and restored to be resold at a lower price.

Isn’t that a great idea? I know how much sportswear and equipment can go to waste, so perhaps we should all follow suit and dig out our unused kit from the back of the cupboard?

I’m sure sports centres and schools around the country would be delighted to receive quality donations!
