Safety during Covid-19 is paramount for ILAWS

-

ILAWS offers a convenient service. Its representatives have always arranged home visits to organise Wills and Power of Attorneys, so that clients can deal with this important task in the comfort of their own home, at a time that suits them.

Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic and lockdowns, ILAWS was classed as an essential service, which meant home visits were allowed to continue so long as the client was comfortable with this.

“We’ve always been able to go into homes because Wills and Power of Attorneys are so important – this is not like letting a painter in, this is like being able to let an emergency plumber in to deal with a burst pipe,” says Tony Marchi, ILAWS principal.

As more clients (and staff) become vaccinated, hopefully we’ll all feel increasingly comfortable with home visits. But throughout the pandemic, and going forwards, ILAWS has always kept safety a priority. During a home visit, your ILAWS representative will:

● Sanitise their hands before and after entering your home, as well as wearing fresh disposable medical gloves in every appointment.

● Wear a facemask.

● Keep their distance and will not touch any of your surfaces.

● Observe social distancing throughout.

Getting a POA or Will organised is important; ILAWS is focused on making sure clients feel safe and comfortable, so they can help as many people as possible put these essential legal documents in place.
