In July 2021, Gabby Petito and her fiancé, Brian Laundrie, embarked on what should have been a four-month road trip.

However, just a few weeks later, she vanished, and he refused to speak about what had happened when he turned up at his parents’ home in Florida, having driven there alone from Wyoming.

In September, Petito’s remains were found, and in November, it was revealed he’d admitted to strangling her, before eventually taking his own life. In this three-part documentary, Petito’s parents discuss their torment while internet sleuths reveal their part in bringing the case to a close.
