What’s in bloom?
Cannas are bold, tropical plants with vibrant flowers in strong shades of red, orange, yellow and pink. They grow to 2m in height and are popular as tall accents in bedding schemes in both containers and borders. They also do well in cool conservatories in summer. They are native to Mexico and the Caribbean so their rhizomes need to be lifted and overwintered under cover.
