Research: Not a dry eye in the dog house
A groundbreaking and frankly quite disturbing study has revealed this week that dogs can cry.
Japanese researchers measured the moisture under the eyes of a group of canines when they were reunited with their owners and discovered that they were actually weeping with joy.
So good to know that pooches like a good old sob like the best of us, and I’ve also learnt that they need their little luxuries like us humans.
A pet shop has opened up near where I live, selling dog sun cream, dog ice cream in a range of flavours and, to keep the cats happy, tofuflavoured kitty litter. It’s all quite pricey. Once they see the bill, they’ll shed a tear.
