My first film was The Sound Of Music with my late mum in Aberdeen in 1965, aged eight. I don’t go as often as I’d like, but I’d still miss our cinema visits. Judi Martin

Films are better on the big screen so I would miss the cinema but not some people’s habits. A couple had picnic hamper with them once!

I never visit the cinema now. I occasionally watch older films on TV but most modern films are too “woke” to be entertaining! Cameron McEwan

I would miss it. I still remember seeing the original Titanic at the Astoria Cinema in Aberdeen in 1956. Eleanor Martin

I would like to go to the cinema but it’s so expensive. Donna Anderson

I remember feeling seasick after seeing Moby Dick when it came out. I didn’t like the cinema at all and wouldn’t miss it. Allison Scotland

It’s much more convenient to watch at home. Davie Kerr

I remember seeing Imitation Of Life. When the lights went up everyone was in tears. Now I wait to watch films on TV but I think many would miss it. Margaret Brown
