Ange has Real coup on his agenda after Gers rout

Kyogo and Starfelt worries ahead of Champions League

- By Danny Stewart

Celtic will be sent out swinging against Real Madrid.

Ange Postecoglou made the bold pledge to fans after watching his team blitz Rangers 4-0 in the Old Firm derby.

Real, the current Champions League holders, will go into Tuesday night’s tie at Celtic Park as huge favourites.

However, the Hoops boss said: “We will be tested against Real, of course we will.

“What a great opportunity to play our football, though. If we’re not successful, fair enough.

“But let’s go down swinging, rather than deferring to someone because they’re a good team.”

Celtic could have to do without Kyogo Furuhashi and Carl Starfelt, both of whom face a race to be fit over the next 24 hours after sustaining injuries yesterday.
