Norman Gilbert Exhibition

Tramway, Glasgow, until February 5

Former Glasgow School of Art student Gilbert lived and worked in the city’s southside for more than 50 years, painting intimate domestic scenes of his wife Pat and their four children and neighbours, using bold and inventive colour palettes.

This is the first solo exhibition of his work to be held in his local neighbourhood.
