Five feelgood things to do this autumn

-

Crisp, fresh mornings, cosy socks and fluffy jumpers...the warmth may be gone by autumn, but there’s so much to look forward to. Here are five things to get excited about this season...

Winter walks

Dig out your cosiest knitwear and coat and take a nice stroll among the autumn leaves. Make sure you stop off for a hot chocolate, topped with cream and marshmallows along the way too.

Leaf peeping

Wander through the forest paying attention to the changing colours and nature around you. Take photos and enjoy the serenity.

Coorie in

Take advantage of this Scots tradition just to enjoy being cosy and enjoy day-to-day living. Light a scented candle, cosy in under a big blanket and watch a movie or read a book with a cuppa. Indulge in the little things.

Creative cooking

There’s nothing nicer in colder months than a hot stew, or a big bowl of hearty homemade soup so get out those recipe books and make something marvellous.

Autumnal wreaths

Decorate your home with an arrangement of leaves and branches. A nice welcome home on those dark nights.
