Cats can talk... well, who mew?

Have you ever wondered what your cat is trying to say to you when it meows? Well, wonder no more as you can now download an app that will translate your pet’s conversations with you.

“Meowtalk” uses artificial intelligence to work out what your moggy is saying. It’s been a hit in Japan with 17 million downloads.

I would have loved to have understood what my lovely old cat, Flossie, was attempting to say to me. But I can’t imagine she would ever have been asking for anything other than food. And you don’t need an app to understand that.
