Services, shops and attractions will shut tomorrow to allow workers the chance to watch the funeral. Many GP services will also close but scheduled NHS operations, day-case procedures and outpatient appointments will go ahead as planned in most areas. Bin collections are being suspended by most councils. Larger Tesco and Sainsbury’s stores will close but smaller stores and petrol stations will be open from 5pm. All schools and nurseries in Scotland will be shut. CalMac ferries and Scotrail trains are unaffected.
