Lost walker sparks rescue

A lone walker set off a major rescue after getting stuck and lost on the spiritual retreat of Holy Isle in the Firth of Clyde.

The alarm was raised at around 5.30pm on Thursday, and a coastguard helicopter and an inshore lifeboat from Arran RNLI were sent to the scene, alongside 14 members of Arran Mountain Rescue Team and police.
