So what are your memories of the Queen, and how have you marked her death?
I remember writing to the Queen when I was six and receiving a very chatty letter back from a ladyin-waiting. I thought it was very kind of them to acknowledge a little girl. Donna Anderson
My husband was a soldier, so I was lucky enough to meet the Queen on a few occasions. She was a big part of my childhood. The Queen dying was like losing that last part of my mum.

I had the pleasure of serving on the Queen’s Flight of the RAF and met her seven times. She was a lovely lady and will be sadly missed.
John Grant
We travelled to pay our respects in Edinburgh. I’ve never felt so compelled to do such a thing before.
Rhonda Hill
My husband is ex-Army and enjoying all the pageantry.
Elizabeth o’regan
I met the Queen twice. The first time I was on horseback at Holyrood House following a regimental parade, the second when she presented me with my MBE following the Gulf War.

I thank God for the commitment she gave our country.
