While walking in the Ötztal Alps on the Austrian-Italian border, two hikers from Germany come upon the body of a 5,200-yearold mummified man.
He was discovered along with a cache of fur clothing, birch bark containers, tools and weapons. Nicknamed Ötzi The Iceman, he is now in a refrigerated chamber at the South Tyrol Museum of Archaeology.
