All sorted for customer in a hot spot over new heaters

-

William Blair is relieved Raw Deal helped solve a frustrating issue he was having with his new central heating system.

William, from Dunfermline, had electric radiators fitted at his retirement flat in September last year.

He employed Boiler

Buddy Scotland to install the system, which was to include a digital gateway device that would allow him to modify the way the radiators operated remotely.

“The system could be programmed from a panel on each radiator but I found this very difficult as

I am 85 and my eyesight for close work is not good,” he said. “Unfortunately, the gateway device was not available due to a supply issue caused by Covid but I was advised that one would be supplied as soon as they became available.”

William said he tried for months to get the gateway delivered by the firm with no success, so he appealed to Raw Deal for help.

The good news is that, after we contacted the company, it moved quickly to smooth out the issue.

Boiler Buddy Scotland said: “We are aware of some customer service issues and we are working hard to resolve them. We have arranged to visit Mr Blair to install the gateway and will be compensating him for his inconvenience, which he is happy with and accepted.”

William thanked Raw Deal for stepping in. He added: “Your intervention is very much appreciated.”
