He Who Opens The Door
Oran Mor, Glasgow, Monday-Saturday
Two women in modernday Ukraine wake to find themselves inside a morgue. Are they dead and being held in limbo, is there a nuclear war or pandemic outside, and if the doors open will it be safe to leave? This black comedy by leading Ukrainian playwright Neda Nezhdana – adapted by John Farndon – is highly topical, reflecting the limbo for some people in eastern Ukraine, caught between opposing forces.
